Treat Yourself to some personal time 7: Plan your vacation

Want a vacation? Plan it out even if you don’t have the money (yet). Canvass for the best deals right from your home through the telephone directory. Find out when they have special promos and cheaper rates. Who knows, maybe all of this might come true one day!

Khim says: We’re doing this right now!!! We’re planning to have a grand vacation next year for our Anniversary. For sure, this will be 2 months of canvassing!!! Hehehe. Good thing we avail the discounted seat rates of Cebu pacific, so we’re just going to find the accommodation!!! Can’t wait to have this vacation!!!!

ABC’s of Beauty and Wellness 7: Cook your food

I missed doing this!! For this week, here’s my share. I find this very helpful, especially to those who are trying to lose weight like me!!! 

Cook your food in the most heart-friendly way, according to the order recommended by nutritionists: steam, boil, broil, grill, bake, fry. Invest in high-quality cookware. Stainless tell is best. If you’re serious about your health, you may consider buying top of the line stainless steel cookware that does not require the use of oil. Stay away from aluminum pans.

Khim says: Believe it or not, I started to avoid eating fatty and foods that are high in carbo and calories, in preparation for my wedding. I don’t want to walk down the aisle with my current waistline. Hehehe. I want my food boil or steam. Too bad, Christmas Season is just around the corner and I can’t enjoy some of my favorite food. Maybe pede naman “TIKIM” lang hehehe.

Blogging Activity 8: BLOGGING ALL THE WAY!!!

I want to sleep early tonight but I find myself here in front of the computer browsing the net and opening my Facebook account.  Blame it on Facebook, I have to open it everyday for the latest updates from my friends. Hahaha. But I really enjoyed Facebook a lot. I remember an application, wherein Vayie was asked if I was addicted to Facebook and she answered “Dapat daw i-pa rehab na ako” hahahaha. But it’s a stress reliever actually. I’ll post the Facebook applications that I love this weekend. PROMISE!!!

Since I can’t sleep, might as well post an entry. After all it’s been 5 weeks since I last posted here on my blog site. I’ve been doing my usual blog hopping when I remembered that I’m a blogger for a year now. Yup, I started blogging on November 5, 2008. You can check the oldest entry here at blogspot. I re-post it here.

My BLOGSITE just turned 1

I can’t believe that I’m blogging for almost a year now. Thanks to my blog mentors; Vayie and Tetay Whenever I need help regarding the layout and some technical stuffs, both are always there to answer my questions. I am not a good blogger, I’m just a good story teller. hahaha. When it comes to grammar, punctuation and tenses, gosh!!! I admit, I’m not that good. But I can say, I’ve improved a lot. You can check my previous entries and try to compare it from my first entry. I had to update my blog more often to practice my writing skills.

My friends used to tell me to edit my previous post. But I told them that I don’t want to edit it because I have my own reason. I want my readers to see my improvements since day 1 up to my recent post. A very OC (Over Compulsive) blogger, texted me 2 months ago and informed me that I improved a lot. There are still errors on grammar, tenses and spelling but the good thing about those mistakes…I learned from it and it serves as a challenge to improve my writing skills.

Blogging is one of the best activities that I’ll do for the rest of my life. Hahaha. No kidding. It’s my own space and my own story. Everything that’s written here is an overview of the things that I love and the things that keeps me going!!! Thank you for being a part of my blog; my journey. For untiringly visiting and reading the entries that I posted and will be posting.

Cheers to another year of blogging activity and entries!!!!

Toddles!!!

Books to LOVE 3: Nicholas Sparks books from Ieni!!!

As Uno Animo celebrated it's 3rd year last month, we had our exchange gift. I picked Tetay, and she wants a bedtrail for Milo. I'm just so thankful that Ieni was able to give me a hand to purchase Tetay's gift. I hope that gift will make Tetay and Milo happy. After a year or two it's pretzel's turn to use it.

I was so excited for my gift as I really like to have the books that I listed in my wish list. I'm too lucky because the one who picked my name is also a bookworm, so she definitely know where to find one. I have this reminder in my wish list that "WHOEVER WILL PICK MY NAME, THEY HAVE TO BUY THE BOOK IN RECTO SO THAT I CAN HAVE 4 OR 6 BOOKS". Kasi, if they'll purchase it in Recto the price is cheaper. I also mentioned in my list that I will prefer a second hand book kasi nga para madami mabili. When Febe saw my wish list, she said "Anu ba yan, pahirap. Sana di ko mabunot si Khim". Hahahaha. That was also the reaction of my team mates last year when i submitted my wish list for Christmas. hehehehe.

Ieni, Thanks for the books!!! I really love it!!!

Our Wedding Diary 23: Dress Up the Bridesmaids2

I think my bridesmaid will love these gowns. The gowns are so simple yet so sexy!!!

Sing a Song 3: A Moment Like This

I got this from Sis Maan, this is not a part of our wedding song list not until I heard how Anima Choir sings it!!!!

Now, I think I have to include them on OUR MUST HAVES for our wedding :-)

Our Wedding Diary 22: Shoes for the bride 2

As mentioned on my previous post, I'll have a colored shoes for my wedding. I don't want the traditional white shoes as I find it too boring. I will be wearing a white gown already so I want my shoes to have a different hue. I found these shoes while browsing the net and they're so cute. Can't wait to buy my wedding shoes!!!
