Khim's Thoughts 28: Happy 2013

Now that I am back to blogging, let me post an entry that should have been published last January for the New year.

Despite the struggle that I had with my business last December 2012, I still welcome the year 2013 with a positive vibes. Its' not easy to stand in the middle of despair, it's not easy to pretend that nothing happened but armed with faith, prayers, motivation and advices from friends and family members - I choose to stand up and move on. From this expereinced, I learend to prioritize things, delegate task, be on track with my schedule and be more organize. The most important lesson that I've gained is about HUMBLENESS and TRUSTING GOD'S PLAN whether it brings you pain and despair. It is from that expereince that I trust Him more, I lift everyhting to His hands and it is thourgh His presence that I have found comfort. I learned my lesson the hard way but I am still thankful because inspite of everyhting that happened there are still clients who trusted me, they still refer me to their friends and we still receive inquiries for coordination from time to time.

This 2013, I vowed to be more dedicated, passionate and more focus on my work. I know it's not yet too late to stand up and correct things. We're just starting and there's a lot of things to learn, I am positive that we will do better this year. As we start the year 2013 let me finished this post with a quote from Ellen Goodman, it says “We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives... not looking for flaws, but for potential.” Happy 2013 Bloggers!!!

Meme's Lane 13: Missing Thursday Thunks

It's time for Unconscious Mutterings. Free association is described as a "psychonanalytic procedure in which a person is encouraged to give free rein to his or her thoughts and feelings, verbalizing whatever comes into the mind without monitoring its content." Over time, this technique is supposed to help bring forth repressed thoughts and feelings that the person can then work through to gain a better sense of self. That's an admirable goal, but for the purposes of this excercise, we're just hoping to have a little fun with the technique. Each week I'll post ten words to which you can respond to with the first thing that comes to mind. "Rules are, there are no rules." There are no right or wrong answers. Don't limit yourself to one word responses; just say everything that pops into your head. AND you don't have to have your words up on Sunday. Here's my share for this week

Khim's Thoughts 27: I'm Back, did you miss me?

It's been a while since I posted my last entry and I can really say that I miss the blogging world. I had all the time to blog last year when I resigned from my work. I was prepared to blog daily but then I become to occupied with a lot of things. I remember that days when blogging was my stress reliever. Whenever something bad happens, I will always open my blog and compose a new entry and before I knew it followers keep posting comments, advises and suggestions. Those are just the perks that you can get from your virtual friends. Virtual hugs, comfort and advises. It's never too late to return to the blogging world. I'll make sure that from this day forward, I will update this religiously :-)Don't forget to visit my blog and join me on my daily adventures.
